BOB BALL
CHAIRMAN

Bob joined Amies Plastics in 1991 as Quality Manager. Other than work and family has a mad passion for fishing and golf.

SIMON STEWART-SMITH
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Simon joined Amies Plastics in 2016. He has had a varied career including toolmaking and the automotive sector. He is also a Nottingham Forest fan (say no more!)

TERRY MILLWARD
WORKS DIRECTOR

Joined Amies in 2008 as Works Manager, moving from the high-volume Caps & Closure sector. Serious DIY’er, loves bikes & fishing (Bob’s prodigy!)

STUART TAYLOR
TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

Stuart joined Amies the team in June 202. An apprentice trained toolmaker Stuart has held a variety of interesting positions in the molding industry.

ANDREW SIDDONS
TOOLING DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Andrew joined Amies team in June 2022 and has had a long and varied career in injection moulding. Outside of work he enjoys socialising with family and friends and also walking his very demanding dog in the countryside.

KELLY ORME
OFFICE MANAGER

Joined Amies in September 2020 as Office Manager. When not at work she enjoys spending time with family & friends. She can often be found away with her caravan, along with her daughter and two dogs.

IAN WILSON
PRODUCTION MANAGER

I joined Amies in July 2018, who were a supplier to myself in my previous role as a Purchasing Manager. I always enjoy using the facts to resolve a challenging situation.

CLARE COOPER
QUALITY MANAGER

Clare joined Amies in 2008, background in textiles and the automotive sector. If she’s not at Amies you might find her running in her favourite place, the Lake District.

IAN FLETCHER
QUALITY ENGINEER

Ian joined Amies Plastics in 2016 from the foundry industry. His interests include D.I.Y and cycling.

TOBY EPTON
N.P.I ENGINEER

Toby joined Amies in August 2020 and has a Degree in Mechanical & Automotive Engineering. A keen climber, often found with the dog in the Peak District.

KATHRYN MOWBRAY
ASSEMBLY SUPERVISOR

Kathryn has been at Amies since 1984. After work you would find her in her creative room making cards and artwork (super talented).
