Stuart joined Amies team in June 2023. Stuart started with us at the begining of June 2023. He has a vast amount of experience and will be an asset to the business. Stuart has a wealth of experience in toolmaking in the molding industry.
Amies Innovation have taken delivery of a New Arburg 470c 1500–400 Golden Edition Machine on the 12th December 2022.

Andrew joined Amies team in June 2022. Andrew has had a long and varied career in injection moulding. Outside of work he enjoys socialising with family and friends and also walking his very demanding dog in the countryside.
As part of our policy for continuous investment in replacing our machinery we upgraded the old tooling area for a more efficient new tool racking system.Amies had a new tool racking area updated.
Kelly joined Amies in September 2020 replacing Jane Umney who retired in December 2020. Kelly enjoys spending time with family & friends. She can often be found away with her caravan, along with her daughter and two dogs.
Machine Shop Redecoration. In December 2020 we decided to give the premises a clean up by painting and decorating all areas, walls and floors.
Toby joined Amies on the 3rd August 2020 with a Degree in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering and a background in the Automotive Industry. He is a keen climber and can often found with the dog in the Peak District. He will be working with Simon Stewart-Smith and Andy Gill.
New Arburg Machine 270S. We have taken delivery of a new Arburg Allrounder 270s machine and have named it Simon who is our Technical Director.
Simon Stewart-Smith becomes Technical Director at W.E. Amies & Co Ltd Simon officially became Technical Director on 6th July 2020. His main responsibilities include: Sales DFM (Design for manufacture) support (Moldflow, CAD etc). Project Management Commercial All of these roles are supported by Andy Gill.
